    Big boy seats

Thanks for the replies so far. Anyone have a definition of "stapling"?

    Big boy seats

I like roller coasters but am hesitate to go to theme parks as I'm 6'2" and 370 pounds. Is there anywhere on this site that would let me know which rides at which parks might have seats that I can fit in? Also saw the term "stapling" - what is that? Not sure if this kind of information is grouped together here, but I did once find a Walt Disney World site that had this type of section and it was great to get that information before going. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
  3. I'm a big guy around 6'2" and 370 pounds. I'm starting to watch my food intake and trying to exercise. Obviously it'a hard changing years of bad habits. I like the idea of this thread to help with accountability. I was wondering if this site had information on rides and the ability of us bigger guys (& gals) being able to fit? I know some rides have "big boy" seats. Is there any information on which rides have them and how to go about getting them? How about a list of rides where we can fit without embarrassement? Finally, I saw some posts about 'stapling" in a ride. What does that mean? Thanks!
  4. It's not too hard on the internet Besides if there's going to be any embaressment I would rather have it over the internet than when I'm in line at the park Again, thanks to everyone for helping and posting.
  5. Thanks for all the responses. It's making me look forward to the trip a little more now.
  6. Thank you for the replay and that is actually the 1st thing I did
  7. Thanks for the help. However I'm not sure what "Arrow OTSR's" are or if I have ridden them. Also don't know a "B&M hyper". At least it sounds like 3 are a go though!
  8. Hi, I'm Todd from the Chicagoland area. Unfortunately I've put on weight and don't ride roller coasters as much as I did in high school, 20+ years ago. Off the top of my head I have ridden most of the roller coasters at Walt Disney World, Disneyland/California Adventure, Islands of Adventure and Six Flags in Gurnee, IL.
  9. I'm new to this site and looking for help. I did a search and couldn't find what I wanted, so please point me in the right direction if I missed it. Also, let me say to 71% of you, yes I should lose weight, but since I'm going in 2 weeks, that's not an option for this trip. I'm going on a family vacation to Busch Gardens (& the waterpark) in 2 weeks and was wondering if I'm going to be able to enjoy any of the rollercoasters and water rides. I'm 6'2" and weigh 320 pounds. Overall big w/ a belly. For reference, I don't have any problems at Walt Disney World riding any rides, but a few years ago I had to use the "big boy seat" on Hulk at Islands of Adventure. Thank you in advance for any help!
