Which Park to go to?

Hello Rob&Elissa!

A friend and I are going to be going on a trip next year so I was wondering which park would be worth the money (we both live in Florida)

Here are the parks we are looking into

- Cedar Point

- Kings Island

- Six Flags Great Adventure

- Carowinds

We want to try to save as much to go on a similar trip the following year.

Here's why Its hard for Us to choose, even though we are coaster enthusiasts:

- The Reason Why we want to Go to Cedar Point is obvious, Its the Worlds Roller Coast and is one of the Best Amusement Parks In the World with some of the best rides in the world such as Millennium Force, TTD, Magnum, Maverick, etc.

- Reason why Kings Island is mainly because it has Banshee, Diamondback, Beast, and Vortex.

- Reason why SF:GA is because it is home to Kingda Ka, Nitro, El Toro, etc.

- And the reason why Carowinds is because we are REALLY wanting to try Fury325 and Intimidator (Mainly Fury).

Which One would be Worth our Money while at the same time saving money for a similar trip the following year.

Thanks a bunch!

Can you give some more information about your trip? How many days do you have? Have you been to any of these parks before? Are you driving or flying?

Great Adventure or Cedar Point are the obvious winners, but if you're going to Cedar Point and have some extra time it would be silly not to go to Kings Island which is only a few hours away.

To add to what Elissa said about Kings Island and Cedar Point. Transportation will be a big expense for any trip over a thousand miles so if time allows you want to try to pair two big nearby parks together whenever possible.

Cedar Point and Kings Island allow you to experience a wide array of coasters.

Great Adventure and Hersheypark are only 2.5 hours apart and also allow for a wide array

When all is said and done, if you are driving Carowinds will most likely be your most economical choice. Carowinds is also the park least likely to be getting something big next year due to the cost of Fury325 this year, so you won't be beating yourself for not waiting another year to visit. Many expect both Great Adventure and Cedar Point to announce new coasters for 2016.

If your flying, sfgadv, cp and ki )plus possibly hershey would be the best bet, however if your going by car I think stopping at Dollywood and Carowinds would be a good idea, assuming you haven't already been to Dollywood and they are about 3 hours apart from each other.
