Nrthwnd
Just heard this on CBC Radio 2 afternoon program.... Instant REALLY INSTANT Omelette - Take a strong, boil-in-bag type baggie.... - Throw in everything you like to eat in omelettes.... like chopped up peppers, green onions, parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, etc..... - Then, add two eggs into the baggie 'mix.' - Seal up totally, and then (what announcer said!) SQUISH IT ALL AROUND, mixing up the eggs and the egg mixture! Don't OD it, but still, squish and mix, heh heh. - Then, put the baggie into Boiling Water, and then 'bob and boil' for 13 minutes.... Remove, (Be Careful In Handling The Baggie!) then cut open and VOILA - Omelette! Announcer swears it works, he tried it, one of those things... So - anybody got any kinds of "those recipes" hanging around, for healthy sharing and 'amazing'? Edited April 4, 2018 by Nrthwnd
cfc
^Seems to me that it would be quicker and easier to cook a regular omelette, but that does sound like an interesting experiment.
Disney Dood
Deep fried dog was my dinner tonight, and my drink was cow blood. Then for dessert i ate grilled ice cream. Sound WTF to you?

Disney Dood
Today I had a weiner dog squished between two delectible buns. Then I had some Rat Salad and bat head with Ozzy Osbourne. MMMMM Toasty!

BarryH
I went to IHOP one morning and they had an omlete done in 5 minutes! I went to the bathroom and wrote up a postcard. Halfway through the 1st postcard, the server came out with the food!

IceDragon
havent a name for it... but we kinda created it as a forfeit one day... hate to say it, but its really nice!!! get 2 slices of bread, butter them and ad peanut butter. Next, get a few layers of ham, 2 slices of salami and sprinkle worcester sauce on it. Now eat it! strange taste, but very yummy!
RaptorBoyASU
White Trash Meatballs..... The combination of ingredients sounds weird, but together it's amazing. 1 package frozen meatballs 1 squeeze bottle of grape jelly 1 bottle of chili sauce (next to the ketchup in the store) Lemon juice to taste (about 1/2 to 2/3 of one of those plastic lemons)
xascher
Ive got one that sounds gross, but is actually quite good. 2 packages of unflavored ramen noodles 1/4 tbsp chili powder 1/4 tbsp curry powder 1/2 cup honey Boil the ramen noodles and spices for 3mins, and 1/4 cup of the honey to the mixture and stir. Drain noodles and add other 1/4 cup of honey to the noodles and toss together, enjoy! (you can also add shredded cabbage for more texture). A this together makes a very sweet, yet very spicy dish. You may also wish to substitue the curry powder for a more potent blend of pepper spices. One last thing you can do, is add chopped bell pepper to the dish, YUM! Nrthwnd
Here's my own easy peasy recipe for POUTINE, an often mis-understood awesome food snack. ~ Get yourself a bowlful of crispy made HOT fries. The bags of frozen fries in your supermarket work just fine. You probably have to "cook them" in the oven, but that's cool. Just get 'em crispy! ~ Take a small block of white cheddar cheese, and dice it into meltable little cubes. Put some of them on top of your fries. ~ Now make some instant "beef" gravy (pouches are available, fat free too!) and pour some of it over the cheese and the fries,,,, ~ Voila! You've just made POUTINE! ...Sort of. In grocery chain stores (like Safeway) they should sell packages of CHEESE CURDS which is nothing more than what white cheddar in cubes is, okay? I always find a lot of Americans can't get past...the cheese. At least cheese in that form. Curds. Whatever. #Getoverit. Enjoy. But if you have a local poutine-ery (?) where you live, check it out! It may give you some home ideas for future poutine, in your own kitchen. Bon Appetit!
Philrad71
^ They have a poutine place in Buffalo that I would like to check out one day, Bill. Luckily for us, we have curds readily available here in most supermarkets, but I have yet to try making my own poutine...someday soon!
Nrthwnd
^ Well honestly, the only difference between "fries and gravy" and poutine is...the cheese curds. And that's it.
